Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

We promote open communication and cooperation between parents, teachers, and administrative staff. The PTO provides a powerful voice to enrich the learning experience of our students and encourages parent involvement in the school. Learn more on the Legacy Peak PTO Facebook page.

Joining the PTO is a great way to support our teachers and give our kids the best education possible. Our fundraising activities help create fun and enriching learning opportunities for all LPES students. Plus, being part of the PTO directly benefits your child. Our Legacy Peak PTO is so successful because so many parents and teachers get involved.

As a PTO member, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Plan and volunteer at events and activities for the school community

  • Support the teachers and staff with enrichment opportunities beyond the basic classroom setting

  • Deepen your connection with always knowing what's happening in your school

  • Demonstrate to your child the importance you place on education and for serving your community

Parent Sounding Board (PSB)

The Parent Sounding Board (PSB) consists of Academy District 20 parents who engage with district leadership to convey ideas and concerns from various school communities. Chaired by PTO leaders and attended by the superintendent and Board of Education liaison, PSB meetings occur monthly on the first Wednesday at the Education Administration Center. Membership has a specific selection process, and meetings are for members only, with associated documents available on Board Docs. Learn how to get involved on ASD20.org.

Volunteering in Academy District 20 Schools

Volunteers are not limited to just the classroom! In addition to helping teachers, we also have volunteers who help coaches, library staff, office staff, and after school clubs. If you have a particular skill or expertise, mentoring a group of students with similar interests or abilities can provide an opportunity for you to do something you love while passing on your knowledge to the next generation. Learn how to apply on ASD20.org.
